A first blog is like a first kiss, it is more than just a kiss. It is a rite of passage. Like an adolescent, I feel like I am entering a whole new world, which I have observed from afar for years.
Why today? Why do I take this tenuous step forth in the blogosphere? I do not know. I have never before yielded to the gentle persuasion nor seductive invitations of friends to join. It is not that my will has worn thin. It is more that the spark of my desire has been flamed.
So I announce my arrival. I am now officially a blogger.
